Can I manage my accounting with Biz Insights?
Absolutely! Biz Insights is designed to support the day-to-day operations of your business, as well as your end-of-cycle accounting. When you manage your inventory, tax settings, sales, and expenses with Biz Insights, all the accounting is done for you and displayed in the Reports Tab.
I provide a service (non-tangible) rather than sell products, can I still use Biz Insights?
Certainly! Biz Insights is designed to support businesses in the service industry as well. Create your service packages as an Item, and check the "None Stocked" item type. Your wholesale price would be your cost of delivering the service, while the retail price would be the amount you charge the customer. That's it! That is all the changes you would need to make to have Biz Insights work for your service business.
What happens if my power or internet goes down?
We understand that things happen that are beyond your control. Biz Insights can run on any device with a browser, so a backup laptop is a great idea. Biz Insights was also designed to run on as little data as possible, so using mobile data is also an option when the main internet is not available. Many of our clients have also adopted a strategy of writing down transactions in a notebook during power outages and registering them later, once power is restored.
